Update: 3 weeks after posting this piece of news, we now know that hoping for the Thai government to get serious about this was wishful thinking. Thai officials decided that the temple can keep the tigers, but not for making money. This is simply corruption and crime ‘officially’ at work.

Thailand’s controversial ‘Tiger Temple’ is set to reopen this month as a zoo, importing 24 new tigers after it was shut down two years ago.
