Thanks to the generosity of our expert EwA friends, we now have the beginnings of an exciting collection: the EwA Pocket Field Guides. These guides are designed to support our participatory scientists and community members in the field.
Each guide represents a tremendous effort, from careful research and writing to selecting and showcasing the photography of our naturalists and volunteers. We are delighted to share them as a resource for our community and as a token of appreciation for our ambassadors.
Visitors to the EwA site can also request access to PDF versions of the guides (linked below). If you have not already, please consider 🧡 donating to EwA so that this collection can continue to grow. Thank you!

(*) We do not keep an inventory of our guides. To minimize environmental waste and pollution, we print them on special weatherproof paper and only on demand. This approach comes with a higher cost per guide (about $3) but for a good reason. The printing industry is among the most polluting, and regardless of the method, the ecological footprint of paper and ink remains high, even with so-called “green printing.”
If you would like a printed copy of one of our guides, please reach out to us reach out to us or let us know when we meet in the field.
