Thanks to the generosity of expert EwA friends, we now have the beginning of an exciting collection: The EwA Pocket field guides to help our participatory scientists and community members in the field.

There is an incredible amount of work going into these guides, from carefully researching and writing the text to selecting and rewarding the photography work of our naturalists and volunteers! We happily share our pocket guides to help our community of participatory scientists in the field and with our ambassadors as a token of our appreciation.

EwA site visitors can also request access to PDF versions of any guides (linked below). If you haven’t had a chance already, think of 🧡 donating to EwA to see this collection growing. Thanks!

(*) We do not have an inventory of our guides. We print our guides on special weatherproof paper and print on demand to reduce environmental waste and pollution. This means a higher printing cost per guide (~2$), but for a very good reason: The printing industry is one of the most polluting industries. No matter how we look at it, paper and ink’s ecological footprint remains very high, “green printing” included. If you want one of our printed guides, don’t hesitate to contact us or tell us when we see each other in the field.
